About the Trainer

Ingrid started her journey in 1998, when she started taking weekly riding lessons at a local Dressage Horse Stable. Before long she purchased her first horse, Wulf, who became her partner and teacher on the various paths they continued to take together over the many years. Ingrid fell in love with the Spanish Horse also known as the Andalusian and in 2000 purchased her first Stallion and Mare as foals with the vision to start a breeding program to offer this gentle and majestic breed to the Canadian market.

As an animal lover her whole life Ingrid was naturally intrigued when she was first introduced to the concepts of Animal Communication in 2003. With a career in Computer Sciences, however, her natural analytical side came out and what resulted was a journey into a wondrous new world of spiritual awakening and one that has illuminated her life. 

Finding a new place of compassion and love for all animals, Ingrid envisioned her own farm bringing several of her passions together to offer life enriching programs for people and animals. In 2006 she purchased her farm and called it The Oasis Farm and Wellness Centre. 

Ingrid became a Certified Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning (FEEL) Practitioner in 2011 and built a variety of programs on the farm and helped countless people with their own transformation through the wisdom of the horse. After selling the farm early 2018, Ingrid is now offering programs at Horse Discovery.

Ingrid was also an Entrepreneur and Business leader for 30+ years assisting small and large organizations to build business strategies, plan and lead complex projects to re-engineer and thrive. As a Director in a Fortune 500 organization she lead and motivated her staff to achieve their career goals and the organization strategies. 

In 2020 Ingrid became a Certified Life Coach to gain additional tools to help those individuals who want to re-imagine their lives and attain new goals. She has since retired from corporate life and is now dedicating her time to share the wisdom of the horse.
